Guest guest
Ah Linda, I can so hear what you are saying about staying in your truth with family especially. Now my view is a bit warped from yours in that I was an orphan, however the strength to stand in truth with whatever people you have to call "family" is a universal experience and can be a real scary stone hearted place. So maybe that is the essence of the dilemma. Certainly Amma helps us to stand in our own truth (or mess, or fantasy, or whatever stage of those realities we are in). The African equivalent of the lion's mouth with head in it would be the elephant in the living room. Now, if you stop to think about it, having even ONE elephant in the living room and NOT talking about it or even saying to each other OMG THERE IS AN ELEPHANT IN MY LIVING ROOM - would seem to be impossible. And yet families all over the world have things they cannot talk about, cannot resolve, cannot understand, cannot compromise on - there are herds of elephants running through millions of living rooms. The point my dear sister Linda is that YOU ARE NOT ALONE! I am so proud of you for speaking your truth. Just know my dear, that you have many many brothers and sisters in the same situation. You have chosen to speak up. You have chosen to speak your truth and act on this. You have herded the elephants out of your living room. Pushing elephant butts is not easy. Love you and praying for you this morning. Om Namashivaya - In Amma's service, Supriti Omenka Nnadi Aum Amriteswarayai Namaha! Terms of Service. I also notice that herding other people's elephants is a delicate business. tread carefully. Aum Amriteswarayai Namaha! Terms of Service.
