lord shiva was so benevolent that he has given highly inexpensive

it is written in shiva puran that six faced rudraksha is represented

by kartikeya, son of lord shiva.  in the south kartikeya is also

known as skanda, shanmuga, saravana, murugan, subrahmanya etc.  it

is logical to understand that the six faced rudraksha represent the

six faces of lord kartikeya who is shanmuga (six faced).

 

lord kartikeya is the chief of devatas army and peacock is his

vahan.  the fiery planet mars who is prominent in all army officers

has his lord as kartikeya.  any person having problems with mars are
