Guest guest
The statement,"The Vedic belief system originally existed as a polytheistic, idol-worship way of life." is not a view held by a majority of Hindus. It also does not agree with the conclusions of all the greatest vedic thinkers, writers and scholars of the past 5,000+ years. Overall yr article is very anti-hindu. As an outsider to the tradition you may feel it breeds isolation. Hinduism is very inclusive and encompasses the the whole universe. No other tradition can give a seeker more info on God than the Vedic. The Bhagavad Gita or Song of God is full of details on devotion etc. Your theories on what Vedic religion is or was were invented by people hostile to the tradition. To get an accurate view of a tradition you need to ask those who are living the tradition. Terms of Service.
