Mother and Child Reunion... Dear Ardis and all :::waving weakly::: I LOVE this song. And it hits home in many ways. It is the ReUNION I long for with the Divine Mother; it is the Reunion I long with my own mother. And I really appreciate you putting all the words down because I am working to learn some "cover" songs, garnering what I can for the day when I may sing again. I have tried several times to read and respond to posts in recent digests, especially to Mahadevan, with whom I felt a great deal of empathy :::bowing to Mahadevan::: even though our situations are very different. These past weeks I have been sicker than ever. It was heart wrenching when I tried to respond to your post, Mahadevan, and only got half way through what I wanted to say before I had to go back to bed. But it sounds like you got a lot of support from the group, which is a terrific group, not only as Ammachi devotees, but as individuals, each in his/her own right. I don't know how far I will get with this digest, and there is already another one. But I wanted to try and at least get one note out. Recently, through a good friend, I discovered another (ala Krisna Das) Kirtan Walla, Shubalandanda. You can't hear the songs at his site, which is really a blog, but his spiritual journey mirrors that of so many, at least it mirrored mine. We have shared several emails, and he has a generous spirit. He sings mostly on the East Coast. But for anyone who is interested, here is the link to his site: _Shubalananda : Kirtan by Shubalananda_ ( Terms of Service.
