Natural sacred objects do NOT require any pran-pratista

Dear Respected Richard Ji,

 

Thanks for this interesting posting. You did not specifically

mention Rudraksha beads, was this intentional? There are some poojas

given for Rudraksha which includes pran-pratista mantras. These are

for example used by the priests who conduct Rudraksha poojas for

Rudra Centre. What do you think about this, is it aparadh? However,

I have not been able to ascertain if these poojas are in some agama

tradition only or actually have root in shastra. I wish someone

would reveal more about this important subject matter for all

Rudraksha sadhaks.
