Prashanti" It was very loving of you to send Amma's Global Satsang the report. One can feel the love Amma manifests through reports like yours. Reading your report here in California gave me chills of joy. Amma in a jammed penthouse? Did the upper West Side get transformed into Amma Loka? Sister P-ji, you did an excellent job conveying a complex and eclectic event. This type of reporting and generosity of spirit is what makes the Y-Satsang occasionally invaluable. Guest guest
Prashanti, Thank you for your comments and your offer of a place to stay. I have other generous friends in NYC as well, so that was not the issue. It was the transportation and missing of another 2-3 work days. Also I felt Amma might be a little upset with me to spend that kind of money (at least $500 or so) for just the one day of seeing Her instead of giving it to the poor and needy. I love being with Amma in person, especially in those kind of settings. I've enjoyed my share of them and even much more private ones. But now I try my best not to waste money unnecessarily. Its only 1 more month until I get to be with Amma, so I will just tough it out! Ha!
