Guest guest
I am one of the organizers (for lack of a better word) of the fairly informal Chapel Hill Satsang. We generally have difficulty putting together bhajan cds that are simple, that have good audio quality, and for which we have lyrics. We do have all of the Bhajanamritam books and most of the supplements. Does anyone out there have a list of cds/bhajans that fit these criteria? We'd like to add some more songs to our repetoire, but I don't want to go the route of simply purchasing cds hit-or-miss. Thanks for your help! Peace, Dave Aum Amriteswarayai Namaha! Guest guest
The Bhajans for Beginners CD has some really good ones that everyone can sing. I love all the early years stuff, 1987 and 1988 World Tour tapes are awesome, but '87 is not available right now. 2001 World Tour (parts 1&2 are both great) and also 1996 World Tour have lots of favorites that you will hear at Devi Bhava. Also, I HIGHLY recommend the Remembrance set, which is a double CD of the best of world tour bhajans, and has such rocking bhajans as Amma Amma Taye, Jhilam Jhilam, and Jai Ma Ambe. Listening to that set is like being at Devi Bhava. The MA Center also has some music books for harmonium/voice that are worth checking out if your musicians don't play by ear. love, Prajna dharmabum253 <dharmabum253 > wrote: I am one of the organizers (for lack of a better word) of the fairly informal Chapel Hill Satsang.
