Guest guest
This article points out how large of idfference between Americans and British as far as cancer, diabetes and other diseases. The Americans had a rate almost twice that of the British. Americans also spend about twice the amount of money as British on health care. The article suggests reasons like more financial instability. Personally, I thought they missed the whole point. Just look down the major streets in the US adn see all the fast food places. Go to the grocery and read the labels on food. I have never been to England. Are there any people who have been to both countries who have a different view? http://www.cnn.com/2006/HEALTH/05/02/sick.america.ap/index.html GB You can also visit - http://www.geocities.com/cybervaidya http://360./cybervaidya http://ayurveda.pbwiki.com/
Guest guest
Jane, It said in the article that the ratios were the same throughout all economic strata. In fact the lower class in England had same disease rates of upper class Americans. GB Re: American are sicker than British English are poorer than their American counterparts - so possibly could not afford to eat what Americans eat You can also visit - http://www.geocities.com/cybervaidya http://360./cybervaidya http://ayurveda.pbwiki.com/
