Guest guest
Dear Richard ji, We request you not let the forum be used by racketeers dealing in fake sacred objects. It is high time you used your authority as a moderator to put an end to such unethical designs of a few. This forum is highly revered for the quality of information it provides. It is but natural that people will believe any thing that is posted here on the board. Therefore it becomes all the more necessary that a strict quality control is maintained and those trying to sell the fakes weeded out. With naman to all gurujan, Varun Trivedi ---Dear Varun, Namaste!!! I agree with you. But who is dealing in fakes? It is hard for me to tell. You see I only recommend people I have actually done business with, otherwise, I never recommend anyone. On a forum like this, just as in a market place, information is shared and people try to market such items. Who is fake and genuine, that I'm not sure just from email. Whenever I see something wrong I speak up. But only if I'm sure. Even some highly regarded temples and sacred objects dealers are having or selling fakes... for example, almost everyone is selling Whelk shell as Lakshmi Shank! This is wrong. Whelk is NOT Shank. But almost everyone is doing that... the same with gems, I see Navaratna set for Rs. 5000 and that is impossible to be other than junk stones and cultured pearl... and if I object they say, "But the poor people cannot afford the GOOD gems...!?" I say, of course poor people cannot afford jyotish quality gems. Gems are for Kings and rich people. Poor people can always afford to get a Rudraksha, which is very potent, so why sell junk gems? That is the reason we started this group... to churn the ocean of milk and get the amrita and the poison. So we thank Lord Mahadeva for so kindly disposing of the poison, even now. If you, or any member, spots a fake, then please speak up. But when calling something fake please be prepared to prove it. Best rgds, Richard Terms of Service. Guest guest
Dear All, Namaste!!! In possible defence of Sri Alok, I do not know about other items, but sapphires, both yellow and blue, that he posted before seemed to look genuine and the prices also sounded fair. He also offered a lab certificate on each gem. That all looks OK to me. Guest guest
Dear Alok ji, I think you should read my message again. I never said that you are selling fake. You should have no reason to get offended. I had made a general request to the moderator.
