It is said students and scholars should pray to this kind hearted Lord of knowledge and wisdom before commencing studies. If you offer this hymn to eight learned scholars, you shall have immense knowledge. Eight is sacred number for Lord Ganesha.He is worshipped as lord of eight directions. Benefits: Students, scholars and depressed can get immense benefits if they read it with devotion. Lord Ganesha ji is remover of obstacles but he dislikes arrogance.
