Guest guest
Dear Friends and Group Members, Namaskar. First of all I want to Thank Dharmadevji for bringing up the point that i was wanting to make. I would still like to stress one point that We do not have enough time/do not spend enough time learning in the wealth of knowledge which our respected Richard Jee spent in his life and has done the BIGGEST service to the world society at large in sharing and dissipating the knowledge he has got out of his experience through his well documented websites which unfortunately no many of us have enven though we have the knowlegde. At a time like this we should support and give due credits to people from whom the information was sourced rathar than resorting to plagarising the information. We all agree that the knowledge of our Scriptures are not Copy righted, however how many of us have the Medha Shakti to understand and interpret what is said in our Scriptures with accuracy. This is where services of richard ji ,Dharmadev Ji comes into play who have spent a lot of time doing these research and giving us the fruits like Amrita ready for consumption. I just conveyed what i had in my mind without prejudice to anyone so that we can discourage any such activities in the future. Guest guest
Namaskar and thank you for your comments here.........agree with you totally and it brings to mind a message of Knowledge that is actually from Swami Dayanad Saraswati in his most outspoken book Light of Truth in the chapters on exposeing the religious practices the many religions we find ourselves exposed to in the Iron age or Kali Yuga that we find ourselves in It is stated in his book that.............It is the Kali Yuga ( Iron Age ) now.............Dont you expect things of the Satyuga ( Golden Age ) in this age. This is a True Statement and is one of the difficulties we find ourselves in when trying to understand how the references we find in the Holy Books apply to us.........today.......... it seems some of the Holy Books we study are a combination of information from all the different ages.........some of the infomation does not apply to this age and we have to try and figure out what does apply and what doesnt...................... we have to be extremely deliberate in our actions to go with the remedial measures for difficulties we find that apply to our lives and that work in the age we live in today......The Age of Iron one physical example would the prayers and Ceremonies we use today and the yantras and other Holy Items that we find to work in todays world like the wearing of the Iron Ring in the Age of Iron or the Kali Yuja............other physical example to help with remedial measures in this life is to wear the 5 Mukhi Rudraksha as the Universe has made this Guru Bead available in great numbers for all the mankind and womankind to wear so that life might be easier for the good of all concerned...............another example that has been seen is that although the higher mukhi beads do create positive changes for the wearer in a faster bolder manner there are the many lower mukhi Rudraksha beads that are readily available to the average man that although they work in a slower calmer manner........... they eventually accomplish the same goals depending on the method of wearing Since Gurus and Saints are an issue that many foriegners to Indian Culture do not fully understand..............and to further expand on this subject of false Saints in the Kali Yuja Swami Dyananda Saraswati goes on to tell one of the most interesting and disturbing account of the people he calls the...........Thugs of Dhanasari They go to distant countries in parties of five or seven..........Whoever among them is robust and is of a takeing appearance is appointed their ring leader. Henceforth he is a Sidha ( saint ) They place him in a sequestered spot outside a rich town or village and themselves go into the town and ask everyone who comes across their way if he has seen or heard of such and such Mahatma ( Saint ) They are asked.... ( by the townspeople )......who and what kind is that Mahatma ? They ( the thugs ) answer he is a great Saint. He can tell what passses in your mind. Whatever he says comes to pass. He is the king of yogis............... we have left our hearths and homes in his quest. We had heard that he had come this way The householder rejoins............when you happen to meet that Saint please do not fail to inform me also of it. I shall also have the pleasure of seeing him and questioning him about my hearts desires All day long they ( the thugs ) repeat the story to anyone who meets them At night all assemble together at the Rendevous .......... eat and drink in the same place and sleep in the same place. They get up in the morning and all accomplises go out and repeat the same story day after day for two or three days then when the story is fully circulated in the town they go to a rich man and tell him they have found a Saint and if he has a desire to see him they could take him to him. When he is about to accompany them they ask him what he wants to inquire ( from the Saint ). He says that he wants to have a son or wealth or to be cured of some disease or to overcome his enemy This information is then prearranged in tranfer to the Saint before they take him to the Saint and seat him according the the understanding arrived between the Saint and his accomplises the instant the visitor salutes the Saint .........the Saint...........proud of his powers cries out with a loud voice.......Do I keep sons here that thou hast come with the desire of getting a son.........or.........Do I keep bags full of gold here that thou hast come with the desire of getting wealth. Mendicants never have wealth........ or am I a doctor that thou hast come with the desire of getting cured. I am not a doctor that I should cure thee. Go thou to a doctor For some reason...............the visitor is quite captivated by these answers and the scoundrels say to him..........Is not he what we told you the visitor replies.............. Yes he is the same as you told me................ you have done me a great favour. I am indeed very lucky to have had the pleasure of seeing him thereupon the rogues say .............Look here brother........ this Saint is his own master. He is not likely to stay here for long. If you want to have his blessing serve him with all your heart and soul and wealth.................. because it is said..........It is service that bears fruit Should he get pleased with anyone.................. who knows what blessing he may give him as the old proverb says......... Most inscrutable are the ways of Saints The visitor having heard such soft and soapy words is highly pleased and wends his way back home praising the Saint. The swindlers also go with him lest anyone should expose their fraud. The visitor also praises the Saint to all before his friends or other people who happen to meet him on the way..................... ( and by now you can see what is happening to poor visitor and what changes will run through the town ) By and by the story makes its way all through the town and then there is a great halloobaloo. Everyone is heard to say......... A great Saint has come and put up at such and such a place let us go to see him In this way the Thugs of Dhanasari take townspeople for all they have and then move on to another country or town to do the same...........One must always be aware of the different shapes and characters that liken themselves to the Thugs of Dhansari in this age.....One must always be aware of Hindu Maya and Buddhist Mara that stand in the way of Enlightenment in this Age What a predicatment this is.........who is one to follow ........or maybe we dont follow anyone except our own heart and become self empowered so that we can be confident to follow our own Upa Guru regarding what is right for each or us individually without continually feeling like we have to go to someone else for help or prayer to overcome obstacles in this age........if we do the work ourselves to Accomplish Self Empowerment then Fearless Life and Enlightenment follows so we do the best we can to better ourselves and others so Life gets better for everyone Swami Dayananda Saraswati continues to say.........The study of the Vedas and association with the good and the learned enables one to escape the clutches of such swindlers since the true visual organ of man is Knowledge. Without education and culture there can be no enlightenment This is a good lesson to learn at an early age especially in this Age of Iron..........The more Knowledge a person has.............. the more they are able to learn........and the more they learn.............. the more they know they can learn.....is a most rewarding cycle of Life Wishing all the Best S R DharmaDev Arya In a message dated 4/15/2006 8:17:40 AM Pacific Standard Time, viswa_k writes: Subj: RBSC : Websites of Knowledge 4/15/2006 8:17:40 AM Pacific Standard Time viswa_k Reply-to: Sent from the Internet Dear Friends and Group Members, Namaskar.
