Dear Sir/Madame,

Om Namo Shivaya

I do Abhishek puja every Monday and Thursday.

Does any one have any advise as to how the correct way of bathing

the Phallus and the Shiva Ritual is performed?

I would also like to know what I am supposed to do with the milk and

everything else that is part of the puja after it's been performed.

I do let my right hand middle fingers touch it and then with those

fingers I touch my eyes, the center of my forehead and below my neck.

Where I reside there is no river near by.

I would also like to know where I can find Bilva - Bili Patra (

woodapple leaves), Dhatura and Jati fruits. Please, do let me know

the English names for Dhatura and Jati fruit.

Thank you.

Om Namo Shivaya

Ila

Namaskar and thank you for your posting..........it would be best if you went to

www.hindumandir.us website and found a temple near you that represents the

traditional ceremonies of your ancestors.......from where they lived in

India.......there may be small differences in south indian to north indian and

west indian to east indian in many ceremonies that are considered the same by

most.....is best to ask a Temple Priest from the area of your ancestors

hope this helps
