Hallo Barb,

Most of the people have the holy ash brought from temples like that of

Saibaba of Shirdi. Swami Samarth of Akkalkot, or Gajanan maharaj

temple at Shegaon. Many more sacred places. The people use the insence

ash daily at home if that one is not available.

Tieing around the head, so that the rudrakshas go around head and

forehead, feels more important, if you havent done it yet, before the

ear rings.

The ear ring according to master Dharmadev Arya is like the Hearing

aid. Look at this

picture-http://images.webmd.com/images/hw/media66/medical/hw/nr55552038.jpg

A longer earring with the capped rudrakshas tied to eachother with

silver or gold wire that goes behind your ear exactly like the hearing

aid in the picture. (capping rudraksha acts as a super conductor)

If you are going to make piercing, then make it at the upper part of

the earlobe, so that the ear rings inserts in there and hang down

behind your ear. You can insert the other end of the earring chain

into the bottom ear piercing, if you want to make a firm fitting

behind, to avoid the chain to dangle forward due to any jerks and head

turns.

Break all those sets of earrings and make combinations of them :),

instead of similar sided rudrakshas in one chain.

The bramhins mostly have egos, not all are the real devotees. Anyway,

that lady is just a devotee, who knows if she is just the decorative

cream, or the whole cake. But with her sayings, she is surely not

enlightened.

see you, good wishes,

Ketan.
