Guest guest
Dear Yourstruelyprince, Thank you for your reply. The earrings are very nice. The ones which I made that go through my pierced ears are a bit different. They are not on silver wire, but wire from a bead shop, although I had looked in a jewelers for gold or gold filled hoops, but the hoops which they had were too thick to take the beads. Mine are on what people might think of as "gypsy hoops." I have three sets: one set with 6 five-sided beads; one set with 6 eight-sided beads, and one set with 4 four-sided beads. Then I have a set of 6 larger beads on a string, and I just loop those over my ears. I like DharmaDev's idea though of fastening them behind the ears, as this seems more like "wearing them on the ears. I'm just not sure how to keep them there though, and I've been thinking that perhaps fastening them on a curved piece of metal wire that can fasten in front of my ears (somewhat like the ear fastener for glasses, only in reverse). I think that you're right though and that the beads do need caps (I think one silver and one copper on each bead--or at least one silver-coloured and one copper-coloured on each bead). I have been thinking about having my ears pierced again, as I feel that I'm not wearing rudraksha beads enough on my ears. Did you mean that people in India use ash from incense as vibhooti daily? Barbara The person who told me that I could not wear Rudraksha and Tulsi together, and that I could not worship Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu, said that she was a Brahmin lady from India, and she was a devotee of Lord Krishna. - yourstruelyprince Tuesday, January 31, 2006 5:02 AM RBSC : Re: seven mukhi combination/Barbara RA Ra ra ra aaa! (Echo) ;p Barbara Barbara ARA RA Ra ra ra aaa! (another internal Echo) ;p ))))))Hallo Barbara,If someone was angry on you because you wore such combination, then heor she was definitely was showing-off, or trying to draw your bowfullattention towards him.Master Dharmadev aryaji has answered regarding the wearing ofrudrakshas, at cremation ground etc. Look the post above. orhere-/message/10867As he said it is really like that, the rudrakshas does not get, gain, loose, or improve its own powers by any of your deeds. Its on your feelings, if you think or get confused on, having donesomething wrong while wearing those rudrakshas, then chant theRudraksha Beej Mantras (different chants of different mukhis rudrakshas). As discussed in previous topics here, the rudrakshas anyhow, anyway, anywhere, anytime, goes to the person who is ment to own them. So, ifthe rudrakshas have reached you and you are wearing them, then you arealready authorezed. Its nothing like you cannot worship others while you worship Shiva, you can do it if you have got whole day of time for that. And you arealready worshipping the devi, vishnu, ganesha, by wanting to worship them.Only thing is that, Ganesha has got certain position. Take name ofGanesha before starting any worship. And concenterate in onedirection, while devoting others too.The insence stick ash can be used as vibhooti. Generally in homespeople use the same while daily worshipping. Get your necklacedesigned with all those beads as comfortable as possible. Wearing oneover the other heaps of rosaries, will eventually make you feeliritated and you might remove some.. so Make a simple, confirtable, and wholesome kind of rosary. For the ear rings design, before Dharmadevji would draw..I can alsodraw for you, as I am an artist; but I found what you want already-look at this picture I have uploaded-http://ph./photos/view/fdea?b=14The ear rings should be like that. Rudrakshas with silver wireinserted and caps. The same wire goes into your earholes which act asconductors. As modak for Ganesha, you can offer the modak shaped Choclate Kisses.Do you know them? They are made in USA by Hersheys or something..You should not get confused by what to offer or what not to/what todo/or what not to do to please god.. you can inovate your own ideas, with whatever you feel to offer to god.See you, good wishes, Ketan
