Ilumination of the Sun is illumination of the SUN..be it reflection or direct..duality arises from Non-duality but does not mean that Duality is non-real.. Even if the reflection of the SUN changes from pot to pot..relection always remains.. Jiva is like a moving pot..reflection as All THAT IS.. When direct illumination is not possible to access, better to access the reflection and get contended with it..that is the key.. All manifestation be it only reflection is as real as non-manifested..to know manifestation is to know non-manifested.. But when being viewed in non dualistic philosiphical sense, the sun which is non duality and its reflection which duality.duality which actually suppose to be non duality in hidden in the illusionary garb of duality is actually derived from the supreme non duality and one with it without distinctions .so the former is the reflection and the latter is the sun. so when dualistic reflection strives to get illumination and unclothe its dualistic garb and know the naked truth of self to be the non duality, it must first of all while being in duality itself abolish the idea of self to be duality and above me is non duality and that i the duality shall receive direct illumination from non duality and being adjacent with non duality i am also another manifested non duality. non duality actually has no manifestation. if the pitiable duality has this ignorant idea then it is the duality itself is in duality.because the duality must drop this dualistic idea of getting illumination from the non duality.if it has this idea, then no illumination and the duality forever struggling in duality with the dualistic idea and effort to attain non duality.so the reflection which is duality must attain the preliminary state of non duality which is killing the idea of getting illumination from non duality making itself fully independent, next step to know that thy self itself is non duality and the dualistic variations of jiva and paramatma, duality and non duality is non existent. therefore self itself is non duality and upon knowing this the dualistic garb disappears and the once so called duality or reflection is now illumined without the non duality or sun. so being independent of the sun the illumination is never possible but by being independent on its own self the illumination was possible. so in conclusion the duality is non real and non duality is reality as duality is superimposing snake on a rope... And as mentioned below the reflection of the sun changes from pot to pot and it remains the same...the reflection of the sun can never break the pot and free from the vicious cycle of changing from pot to pot and therefore forever remains in the same dualistic platform of not being non dual.in duality there is this ignorant state of seeing self,reflection or jiva to be distinct from the sun which is paramatma and therefore forvever transmigarating from body to body or pot to pot and never get salvated and be free from the this cycle. yes the reflection is the same , forvever having this ignorance and worse when call even further confuses and deludes itself to be one with the pot and as mentioned below when jiva considers itself to be distinct from paramatam itself is illusion and even more terrible when it further deludes itself to be the "moving pot" because it now the is the duality of duality.knowing self to be mistaken as the body. so drop the idea of jiva and body or pot to be self but the jva as self which the reflection, duality of duality disappears. drop the idea of getting illumination from the sun, then non duality springs out. all pots are broken and there is only atma. just as the space confined within the jars etc. merge completely on the disintergration of the jars etc., so do the individual sould merge here in this self. upon illumining the jiva or reflection it becomes non transmigatory and therefore the jiva can never be a so called, "moving pot". it is now birthless jiva! this is the essence of the verse, and one to knows this must first of all have atma jnana and reside in non duality and then only such jnani's can reiterate to the dualistic anjnani about this subtle paradoxical truth without misinterpreting it. the most contracdicting statement below mentioned is ,"when the illumination is not possible to be access,better to access to the reflection and get contended with it, ..,that is the key". this crystal clearly shows severe bewilderment. if it is being said that the relection is jiva or the "moving pot" as mentioned below, then this statement says that if one fails to get illumined by the sun then access to the reflection.this shows that self is totally out of the statement because it says that self is not the sun and reflection and intends to get illumination from the reflection.this simple shows that this is trinity and the mistaken key. first the jiva mistaken itself to be the ,"moving pot",combination of jiva and body and distinct from paramatma and more worse when from no where this vague declarence that self is not the paramatma sun and jivamatma reflection but some sort of strange creature wanting illumination and be contended with the futile achievement... so answering in sheer non dualistic sense: the discriminating man should merge the(organ of) speech into mind: he should merge that(mind) into the intelligent self: he should merge the intelligent self into the great soul: he should merge the great soul into peacefuls elf.now this is the key. the manifestation can never be one with the unmanifested.the reflection is also not the manifested in non dualistic sense.so the idea of manifested dies when unmanifested is being realized therefore to know the unmanifested the manifested must be refuted.... ekam itham advaitham anil <anil_bindal2000 (AT) (DOT) co.in> wrote: Hari Aum..
