Guest guest
photo in my house and let my rudraksh be there next to lord shiva photo for the time being{when i eat nonveg+drink alchol} OR shud i just keep my rudraksh next to lord shiva photo in the house FOREVER since i am not worthy of wearing divine rudraksh bcoz i am not able control my own senses...in this case wil the rudraksh still provide its effectiveness...my rudraksh was pran-pratishthed at a prominent shiv temple in india wit me thru a genuine pandit...now some one told me that in case if u feel like drinking alchol and cannot control urself then u shud remove the rudraksh from ur neck for that time being and later wear it back...is this acceptable?also is it true that if one wears rudraksh and still continues to drink alchol & eat non-veg then the divine power+effectiveness of rudraksh(the person is wearing) wil slowly subside and reduce..is this true or false..if this true then til what extent does this hold true..is there a mention of this in ancient texts...would'nt it mean disrespect towards divine rudraksh bcz the person is eating non-veg+drinkin alchol even after wearing rudraksh..i am a bit confused...? please guide me in the right postive direction... thank you everyone for understanding me... Guest guest
Namaskar and thank you for posting you message..........The Holy Rudraksha hold thier own power seperate from the wearer.........they dont lose this power due to any actions of the wearer..........we are all liveing in an imperfect world and there is more to life then centering on restricting your eating habits however since this is an issue at this time maybe would be best to leave your Mala at the worshipping place in home when you go out to eat non veg..............the other way of treating this is not to place so much attention on your eating habits...........seems from you message that after many years of non veg diet your eating habits changed naturally when you wore the Holy Rudraksha and from your message it seems you werent trying for a satvic diet at the time........this change you are speaking of seems to be something that happened naturally............sometimes as humans we try to push things in our lives to fast........going from years of non veg to a satvic diet in a couple of months is kind of a harsh reality to place on the body and maybe you need to go for this change in a slower manner It also has to be considered that a satvic diet is not meant for all ...........it is a good diet for Temple Priests and someone who is a Spiritual Recluse that performs Ceremonies and Meditations each day and not so good for a person who needs physical energy each day to dig ditches with shovel so he can feed his family hope this helps Rudra Center America DharmaDev Arya In a message dated 1/22/2006 3:37:10 PM Pacific Standard Time, free_for_blue writes: first of all let me state that by expressing my concern below, i in no way mean any disrespect towards the holy rudraksh... i was fond lover of non-veg food and alchol in the past and for almost all my life i had been eating nonveg &drinking alchol and after wearing divine rudraksh i stopped eating non-veg completely &i stopped drinking alchol completely.by saying these lines i am just being honest about myself .my sole reason for wearing rudraksh was to get protection from the unknown.... right now its been couple of months now since i stopped eating non-veg+drinking alchol completely and i am now totally(i mean 85-90%) on sattvic diet... very honestly i sometimes now feel that i cannot control myself anymore,i feel extremely frustrated when i am very hungry and i feel like eating some non-veg &sipping some alchol ..so should i just remove rudraksh and keep it next to lord shiva photo in my house and let my rudraksh be there next to lord shiva photo for the time being{when i eat nonveg+drink alchol} OR shud i just keep my rudraksh next to lord shiva photo in the house FOREVER since i am not worthy of wearing divine rudraksh bcoz i am not able control my own senses...in this case wil the rudraksh still provide its effectiveness...my rudraksh was pran-pratishthed at a prominent shiv temple in india wit me thru a genuine pandit... now some one told me that in case if u feel like drinking alchol and cannot control urself then u shud remove the rudraksh from ur neck for that time being and later wear it back...is this acceptable? also is it true that if one wears rudraksh and still continues to drink alchol &eat non-veg then the divine power+effectiveness of rudraksh(the person is wearing) wil slowly subside and reduce..is this true or false..if this true then til what extent does this hold true..is there a mention of this in ancient texts...would'nt it mean disrespect towards divine rudraksh bcz the person is eating non-veg+drinkin alchol even after wearing rudraksh.. i am a bit confused...? please guide me in the right postive direction... thank you everyone for understanding me...
