Guest guest
If you ever get caught in a place where you cannot remove mala there are several things you can do regarding the intake of alcohol or non veg..........since many of these gatherings are with your peer group it is a simple matter to order sparkleing water with lemon and ice and you will seem to be participateing with your peers who are drinking alcohol at these occasions..........if person is going to drink alcohol it is not advisable to drink alcohol in public anyway as is not safe........if a person feels a glass of red wine each day is good for circulation and heart then they really need to stay home and stick to one glass as we all know excessive alcohol impairs our ability to function Regarding eating non veg..............a person can always simple choose to eat vegetable and potato or vegtables or rice at these times.......if anyone asks you can tell them you are on a bland diet and need to stick to it or you will be sick........and this sends a message to others to leave you alone hope these few suggestions help when wearers are in public Rudra Center India and America DharmaDev Arya In a message dated 1/17/2006 6:04:19 AM Pacific Standard Time, syzenith .au writes: Subj: RBSC : To Jeff Riley from Kishore 1/17/2006 6:04:19 AM Pacific Standard Time syzenith .au Reply-to: Sent from the Internet Forwarded Message Tue, 17 Jan 2006 12:34:17 -0000 "reachkishoreat" <reachkishoreat > Re: Non-Veg not allowed to wear Rudraksha? Hello Jeffji, Even Non veg people can wear Rudraksha. However i have been told while taking Non veg or Alcohol, to Remove the mala neck or the arm and keep in your purse or pocket as a mark of respect to the God. You can wear the mala after your eating and drinking is over and properly washing hands. So usually when having non veg at home or when i plan to have outside, i remove the Rudraksha mala. But i am also having a doubt and probably DDji can clarify, there are times when we cannot remove the mala to keep in a purse or pouch as like say may be one is attending some company occasion/party and may not be aware of the occassion before itself. In those cases is it okay to wear Rudraksha mala or its just that we have to act according to our intutions. Thanks and Regards, Kishore. , Jeffrey Riley <beneteau35s52002> wrote: > >Hello, > > Quick question. Since I am an American, I have no idea if this is true or not. Could you please advise. > > Thank you very much, > Jeff Riley To send an email to: Links
