Guest guest
Namaste Jeff, The tassle usually already contains a Meru bead if the Mala is designed and made in the Traditional or Classical method according to Holy Texts. Traditionally, a tassle with Meru or Sumeru bead is worn at the back of the neck. If you want to use 7 mukhi as a pendant, then attach it to the bottom middle part of the mala. But use your intuition to see whether you feel more comfortable with it behind the neck or used as a centre-bead pendant. It makes no difference, which side the pearl or red coral is worn. To this I have added a 18 mm 7 mukhi Rudrasksha bead hanging off the one 7 mm 5 mukhi bead on the tassel. My questions are, which way should I wear this mala? Do I wear the 7 mukhi on the tassel behind the neck, or down at the bottom like a pendant? Also does it matter on which side I should wear the pearl or red coral? > > Thank you, > Jeff Riley
