Guest guest
Hello Vikrant, The resriction about canned food or processed or synthetic foods does apply to some extent. The food that we eat develops our nature to some extent. The pure the food, the more satvic nature we have. canned or synthetics such as pop contain elements which are not very well tolerated by the body. Canned foods are also stale foods to some extent and contain preservatives to control the growth of bacteria to some extent. When we consume these kinds of foods, it affects our liver, it affects our mental state, it promotes the development of gas or create indigestion. While prohibition of these foods is probably a very strong terms, it negates some positive effects of rudraksha on your body and mind...in this sense, eating foods in restaurant is also not appropriate since the same cookware without being cleaned is used to prepare food for a a lot of people. One also inherits the karma of the chef and the person saerving you and all the persons whose hands touch that food by eating at therestaurant. Also since you have the plates collected by the waiter, you have some good karma of yours taken by this person. Thats why feeding others is considered to be very good way of reucing ones karma...it lets you give away some part of your bad karma and collect good karma...but in these modern times, how far can one go? So look at everything in context I say and apply as much discipline in life as possible and do not stress out yourself.
