Dear Friend

Namaskar and thank you for the posting...........number 7 is normally linked

with the Goddess MahaLakshmi.........is said that this is the world of Goddess

MahaLakshmi in this Age of the Kali Yuga.........is known that all Rudraksha

are the Tears of Lord Shiva and thus a combination of Lord Shiva energy and

the energy of the particular Mukhki Bead you are working with

hope this helps

Wishing you and Family the Best

Namaste,

Can anyone tell me if there is any relationship between the number 7

and Lord Shiva. I am working on something and I need some input from

someone else. If anyone can offer information, anythng you can think

of, please post it. Thank you.

Hello and thank you for replying.

I am not working with a bead, but a theory. My theory is the similarities

between mystical Judaism and Hindusim. Actually, not just mystical Judaism, but

some of the mainstream practices, such as "sitting shivah" when a person dies in

the Jewish practice. (The mourners sit shivah for a period of seven days). As

Lord Shiva is destruction/beginning, or death/rebirth, I am intrigued by the

similarity in name and concept. There are countless other parallels between

kabbalah concepts and practices and Hinduism. Why shouldn't there be? Sanatana

Dharma is incredibly ancient. If you can think of anything interesting I would

so love to know it. Thank You and many blessings,

Dear Celeste

This is a Rudraksha Bead Society Club Forum and your question was answered

accordingly regarding the relationship between number 7 and Lord Shiva as it

pertains to the Holy Rudraksha........if you dont find this information

interesting and need more interesting information the suggestion is to search a

Lord

Shiva site on Groups and ask the same set of questions and am sure you will

find what you are looking for

You can also search the anceint transliterated texts from India by going

through the list of books at natarajbooks.com and finding what you might need

Best of Luck to you
