Guest guest
Namaste Amol, Yes the complimentary gift of 27+1 are all 5 mukhi beads. It is used for Japa, i.e. 27 repetitions X 4 rounds = 108 times. This particular mala is especially useful and wonderful for storing in a pouch and carrying in the pocket, handbag or briefcase for busy people who work long hours. The 27+1 mala is not for putting in water to drink the next morning. The type of 5 mukhi beads you are after is called "Water Beads". Three such beads are put in a glass with water and left overnight to drink on an empty stomach the next morning. Lowers blood pressure and cholesterol. Cleanses toxins. Contains levels of Vitamin C as far as I'm aware of. Regarding the One Mukhi, please use your Upa Guru as a guide. Do you strongly feel a need to dip it in water? If so, then do it. But generally, we dip in oil to maintain and condition rudraksha beads that are not "Water Beads". Water can help clean a bead from dirt or dust, then the bead must be left to dry naturally. Then oil must be applied to condition the bead, especially the One Mukhi you are talking about. Rudra Centre has "Water Beads" sold in three's. Please visit www.rudraksha-ratna.com. Click on the links for rudraksha or puja items or holy items and you should be able to find Water Beads. If not, please enquire with Ms. Neetaji : rudracentreindia Om Namah Shivaya Simone , "amolbhat" <amolbhat> wrote: > hello, > i needed some information about water beads. > i recently purchased 1 mukhi rudraksha and since i purchased it on > Ganesh Chaturthi i received a complimentary gift of a japa mala with > 27 five mukhi beads.
