Guest guest
Namaskar to all, My self manoj nair extending a warm namaskar to all the members of the rudraksha bead society.I had a query which i believe all the respected ones in this group can clarify for me. I have been wearing a siddha mala with the combination of 1mukhi,8-15 mukhi, gaurishankar&ganesh beads one each and also 2-7 mukhi beads 3 nos each.strung in a silver capping mala. And also another mala consisting of 1mukhi,2 mukhi,3mukhi,8 mukhi,11 mukhi one bead each and 4&6 mukhi 3 beads each of collector size. My query is often ive seen that when im wearing the malas the big 1 mukhi bead starts getting dry after it is worn for more than 10 days, though i clean it with water every morning before i wear them. Also my worry is the siddha mala that i had purchased was recieved by me just one day after the death in my family of my grandmothers brother, who passed away in kerala, and we are living in mumbai. We dint go the final rites as the body was cremated by his son the very same day within hours. Now the question is i started wearing the siddha mala from monday just 2 days after his death, and as per our hindu culture we have to follow 16 day shrath period wherein we cant go to temples and do poojas. So i wore the mala chanting om namah shivaya 108 times in my mind as it was already energised at the pashupati nath temple by the vendor through whom i purchased it.Now its already been 14 days and the beads have got dry.I wanted to clean the same by dipping it in mild soap water overnite and then wiping it with a soft cloth and then apply mustard oil,but my worry is if i do the same then will i have to go to a shiva temple and do pooja before wearing the cleaned mala,as i cant go to any temple for another 2 more days. And if in case i dont do the bead cleaning now in this dry state will it affect the powers of the bead later on i mean is it that the bead if becomes dry then wont regain its lusture and power. A humble request pls dont mind my lengthy mail and if in case i may have said or written anything stupid then pardon me for the same. As i love my rudraksha beads and dont want to cause any hurt or bad effect to my beads.Im an extremely god fearing person and firmly believe that there is a divine force that is existing that keeps the world running, and knowingly and unknowingly i wouldn't want to hurt anything. Thanks®ards Manoj Nair Om Namah Shivaya.
