Repair of Malas

Dear David,

 

I might be able to repair your mala at a reasonable price; I have been making

them for meditators for about seven years. I would need to know what is wrong

with it, how many beads need replacing, etc. I usually do the larger (108 plus a

Teacher bead) ones. The ruined gold bead cover is another matter which I don't

think I can repair, although I might be able to replace the gold bead with a

large vermeil bead cap. I have a lot of jewelry supplies which mostly come from

India. A picture would be helpful. You can write me at sindhuma. I

Dear David Ji

 

One of our people on the goup here answered you also.......this person can

fix your malas for you and is in the US..........might be good to contact

her.......... from India FedEx charges $20 to $25 to ship to US and from the US

they

charge about $50.............. only thing we can think of that is different

is that there are about 45 rupees to the US dollar meaning differnt currencey

exchange and that fuel for airplanes is cheaper on the India side so we see a

dramatic difference in prices for shipping
