I am in a hurry to get to my office now but will browse later this evening (after evening prayers of course). Wishing you all the very best. Regards. On the Japa page you will find information on the wide variety of benefits that japa brings. I also have a series of quotes on japa from Anandamoyi Ma, Aurobindo, Babaji, Gandhi, Mother Meera, Paramahamsa Muktananda, Ramakrishna, Sri Ramana Maharshi, Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami, Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Sivananda. They speak of just about every aspect of japa in these. There is also a section of articles on the Science page of studies on the practices of japa and meditation. As I mentioned the site was only opened today and we are still in the process of uploading the final parts of it. So please excuse any temporary glitches that might occur. I do one 108 round of Shree Krsna Japa (Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare); and then one 108 round of Om Namah Shivai. Besides a feeling of peace and well being, is there any other reasons or benefits of japa? The only time they experience a stiller mind is usually in sleep. The habit then occurs that when the mind becomes still awareness and consciousness is lost. This can also happen when the mind becomes still during shaktipat. That is perhaps the last place where you'd think a person would fall asleep, but it happens. > > It is also worth nothing that as we progress inwards during sadhana there is a phase of seductive sleep that often occurs. Guest guest
Dear Neil, "Om Namah Shiva" I took a look around your site last night and found it very helpful and indeed inspiring and shall be telling my friends about it. I would like to place an order for a pair of wrist malas but I do not have a credit card etc. Would you be able to accept an order through the post? I would be able to send you a cheque and I would of course be happy for you to wait until it clears before despatching my order. If you are happy with this, perhaps you would let me know your address. My e-mail address is shiv_sewak. Look forward to hearing from you soon and once again, best of luck with your venture. May Lord Shiva bless you with success and happiness. Shiv Sewak Trikashaivism <Trikashaivism wrote: Namaste Shiv, Thank you for your best wishes, they are appreciated.
