various conch - CONCH v/s WHELK

Dear Sir,

 

Thanks for tthe good question. The Shastras advise certain things, such

as stool is unclean---yet cow dung is super PURE, or "dead bone" is

impure---but Shank (Conch) is super PURE. In other words, the WHELK is

not a Conch shell, it is a WHELK shell... therefore impure. A normal

left handed conch is PURE and can be used in puja... but a WHELK is

impure (because shastra has not mentioned WHELK shell as an exception

like Conch shell). In fact, the test for Sri Lakshmi Shank is that the

owner will be VERY RICH.

 

But this mistake of confusing things is the result of Kali Yuga. When

non-truth becomes accepted as truth.

 

So your WHELK is a "sea shell" that can be treated as such, but NOT for

puja, because it's NOT a CONCH!

 

Shell collectors and old brahmans know the difference... because a

right-side opening Conch costs collectors a lot---the cheapest I ever

was offered was $16,000 for a small one; Whelk right-side opening costs

a few dollars by comparison.

 

Q: How can the fabulous Sri Lakshmi Conch cost a few $$$??? And the

whelks are owned by poor and middle class people with little wealth.

But they go on calling "Lakshmi" conch. Actually it is MASS ILLUSION

and people should know better. They are making a mockery of Sanatan

Dharma!
