Khandit Shiv Ling ?

I found Shiv ling in home mandir has a dent (as if it is dropped on

floor). Should I continue with daily pujan or get another Ling. We do

daily pujan morning and night. If we replace it, then what is a right

way to dispose old one.

Re: Ravana Samhita/yes it is there.

Hi,

Sorry. Slip of toungue (finger :) ). Here is more

detailed info. Rama (as human incarnate of Lord

Vishnu) worshipped lord shiva in rameswaram (rama -

eswaram) not kanyakumari. The Vedas (sacred teachings)

evolved over five hundred years between 1000 and 500

BC, is divided into five samhitas (collections)

separately designated: Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda,

Artharvaveda, and the Upanishads. For example,

Rig veda Samhita -

http://www.srivaishnava.org/scripts/veda/rv/rvtop.htm

Yajur

http://www.sanskritweb.net/yajurveda/

Many of the samhitas titled and shown separetely are

usually part of one of the vedas.

However, some are not part of vedas but still are

being called samhitas or smritis. For example,

Manu Samhita (laws as set by Manu in those days)

http://oaks.nvg.org/pv6bk4.html

The book you are referring to is describing nadi text

(astrology written in palm leaves specific to

individuals to be born in the future written some

thousands of years ago). Vaideeswaran temple in Tamil

Nadu is famous for this. You will find Nadi text from

saptharishis (seven rishis including sage agasthiyar)

and more (sample - Nandi Nadi, Sukra Nadi, Bhujandar

Nadi). In the North, the same is available in Bhrigu

Samhita, Ravan Samhita , Arun Samhita, etc. This is

not readable by everyone. The languages used are not

colloquial and needs special translators trained for

ages through their forefather(foremother!) lineages

who retain these leaves 'cos it is written in ancient

Tamil and ancient Sanskrit.

Sis Simone / Thanx Roan

Namaskaram Roan,

Replying on behalf of Sis Simone. She caught the flu after an

extremely hectic schedule and interstate travel, aside from other

commitments and responsibilities.

She asks me to tell you that it is her humble honor and immense

pleasure that you also allow her to vibrate closer to your blessings

and good wishes.

Sis Simone also mentioned she is impressed after seeing you at

Changi Airport although it was a rush and she had to check in at

once for the flight in November 2004.

She intends to visit Singapore again later this year and catch up

with Mr. & Mrs. Hansraj, Brother John, Brother George, Brother

Jeremy and Yourself as well as other siblings in God.

Meantime, she conveys bountiful blessings, protection and good

wishes to yourself and family.

Sis will check Muhurta Dates about when she will travel to

Singapore. She will let us know later.

She has monumental workloads, works 7 days a week, no time to eat

sometimes, not much personal time at all, in fact. Please pray for

her to recover from influenza soon, thank you.
