Guest guest
Namaste Vandana, It differs from individual to individual but would like to share with you my own experiences: a) When wearing our Personal Rudraksha Bead Combinations, it is like having the related deities round our necks thus protecting and guiding us along the path of samsara at any given moment. b) One day after I took off my Personal mala for maintenance (i.e. cleaning, washing, dryiny naturally and oiling prior to puja) I had the "nastiest fall" ever, in my entire existence to date...... By the Grace of Lord Shiva, never again!! I would not wish the traumas and stress associated with the injuries on anyone, not even a beast ) Ouch.... was just an understatement. Concussion with 3 lumps on the head resulted in lost of vision for a time, vomitting and awful dizziness. In and out of doctor surgeries and various hospitals for injury or another, accompanied by a very dear friend who came to look after me.. CAT-scans, etc. etc. This medication, that medication - all turned into a cocktail that made me drowsy and incommunicado for more than 2 months. There was a dreadful sense that "I'd lost myself; lost the jiva and that it was something floating listlessly in the ether, waiting for the "temple of the soul", i.e. "the physical body" to be restored before returning.. It seemed the "nasty fall" jolted the jiva from where was "housed".. For as long as my rudraksha beads were sitting in the oil jar and not restrung for wearing during this period, I was like a 'shava" - corpse, lying in bed virtually 24 hours a day. Could not do my usual 4am meditations for a long, long time. Sitting, standing, walking, bending and other postures were extremely excruciating despite the cocktail of painkillers, Ayurvedic medications and even Chinese herbals.. When the mind was a little clear one morning, I remembered having a rudraksha mat that I'd made months ago. My friend took it out and stretched iton the bed for me. It was sheer bliss when the body rested on it. The pains took a little time to recede as the electromagnetci properties of the beads eventually assimilated with me. Then came a feeling of being in a meditative state most of the time. Slowly but gradually, was able to move and roll around on the mattress of rudraksha beads. It helped the injured limbs, head, face and body to heal faster than anticipated. Doctors said "6 months" before I could get out and about on my own. I say "Crap, I'm up and running..... after some 45 or 50 days of lying on the rudraksha mattress..!! I swear by the electromagnetic and paramagnetic properties. The entire daily journal of events and gradual healing would take some 250 pages or more! This is gonna sound funny (don't laugh but I have the thought of one day making a long coat of rudraksha beads for wearing....!!!!!! Guess I should enquire with Ms. Neetaji and Sri DDji whether we can make "rudraksha clothing" and set a new fashion trend altogther!!!!!!! Even a rudraksha dhoti or shawl would be great!! After having been in "Shava Yoga" and "Yoga Nidra" for some months, mindfully not through my own fault, I'm willing to try anything and the next is "Rudraksha Clothing" ))))) Through the above experience and after receiving reports from my beloved students, friends and patients around Australia and overseas, I cannot help but arrive at the conclusion that Personal Malas also serve as Kavacha or Kavacham that protects us and deflects negative situations whether due to malevolent planetary movements at any given time or rnanubandhanas from preceeding births. Nowadays, I swathe myself in at least 2 malas for 365 days without fail. And made extra malas as spares for storing on the altar in case one of them snapped off.. Much love & bountiful blessings, Om Namah Shivaya Simone , v992003 <no_reply> wrote: Dear Friends Hari OM! When I do not wear the 9,11 and 12 mukhi beads I get bad feelings. Is this normal and has this happened to any body in the group? Any input will be appreciated. Om Namah Shivai!
