Devi Malas are the Sphatic Crystal Malas however 7 Mukhi Goddess Mahalakshmi

Rudraksa Mala can be used for Laxmi Japa as Holy Books state use the Mantra of

the Devata of the Rudraksa

 

Second question dont understand as in Temple smoke from inscence can get

fairly thick.....have not heard about not covering eyes with smoke

2 quick questions for all

Can a Rudrakshabeads Mala be used for Laxmi Japa ?

I heard that Rudraksha being shiva those beads can not be used for Shakti

mantras...

=2=

Can we do Dhoop/ Agarbatties to Rudrakksha veads ?

I understood that these beads are Eyes of Rudra & Insence stick creates smoke &

it is not desirable to cover eyes with smoke
