Genuine Rudraksha have natural grooves and facets or mukhis. Real rudraksha beads contain natural electrogmagnetic properties. You will find that many unscrupulous suppliers tamper with lower mukhi beads of large sizes to make additional mukhis. This is unfortunately not easily detectable to the untrained eye, innocent buyer or inexperienced buyer or collector. Some suppliers use machines, others hire artisans who are good sculptors. Therefore it is important to purchase from a trusted source such as Rudra Centre who also gives a Certificate of Anthenticity and Guarantee to buyers of High Mukhi Rudraksha.
