Dear Vedana ji

wow..........feel really foolish now........saffron is easy.........didnt

look it up in dictionary as thought we were dealing with something really

mysterious

Saffron is cooked with and taken as an herb in Ayurveda

Goodness all one has to do is type in Ayurveda then pick a site and type in

Saffron

Is a great herb to take internally

Dear Bikramjitji

DharmaDev answering from moderator email address..........Have no

idea why person would tell you to do this........you need to ask them

why........the real name for Saffron is NagaKeshara so person only

gave you part of name

Saffron is used in Ayurveda as a revitalizer of the blood and

circulation and female reproductive system according to book The Yoga

of Herbs by Dr David Frawley

also works on nervous system however you have to take

internally..........nature is satvic and gives energy to love

devotion and compassion.......to Bhakti Yoga

hope this helps

Take Care
