Guest guest
Greetings again from Ozland, P.S. --- If not for Shiva's hand on my head to be in Oz for a set period, simone seriously will hike up the Himalayas again and live near the only Temple (very small, humble but Holy; Most Sacred) in the precincts of the Gangotri - the icicled cave where Maa Ganga's mouth begins; the actual source of the Ganges River. No 4-wheel drives; these terrains (unlike the literal terra firma) require "Bus Number 11", i.e. "Two Legs". Its mountain hiking in snow and appropriate gear. When or if camping/living there, surrounded by snow 24x7, 365 days. High altitude and hypothermia vulnerabilities and dangers for those not used to sub-zero conditons. Thin air of course. Icy winds are not the same type as on Swiss Alps (are you listening Thomas Primas? ). Not mountains for skiing and certainly no resorts but the very bare basics. Far cry from the exclusivities of Swiss Alps and Aspen. Might meet a few wild yaks along the way up after going far above base camp. And some pilgrims with immeasurable bhakti who actually make it up there on foot with their families. Few and far in between. There is someone who is caretaker of the mentioned temple. When the right time comes, would you and A.-M. care to join me? Of course it will not be for many years yet. Gotta tackle all unfinished business this side of the globe and clean up all slates first. So it gives us time to save required pennies. From there, i know the way, just need 2 or 3 reliable porters to help lug the supplies and gear. No need for guides. Travel agencies or 'operators' of trekking tours in Kathmandu 'hate' me ))) Meantime: --------- Shiva says: "In your dreams for now only, my dear". Neilji, hope you get the drift.... ) Om Namah Shivaya Lotsa love from Ozland Simone , "Simone" <syzenith> wrote: > > Salutations Blessed Sri Neilji, > > Pls ensure bead is completely dry before oiling process.. A.M. is particular keen to travel, though my desire is not as ardent as her's. I believe my one and only visit (so far!) to Bharat in this incarnation was the fruitition of much karma (tis was a strange thing). As you know well Simoneji, my foremost wish is to ever continue the inner pilgrimage, tracing the subtle Ganga Ma, the Divine Shakti, back to her source from whence she pours forth from the head of Shiva, the Shivashakti tattva. Perhaps such a pilgrimage would allow it to become "as above, so below", so to speak ; ) Will be sure to keep word of your presence quiet in presence of the treking guides! LOL Would also like to visit Kathmandu, in particular the Pashupatinath. >Meantime: Shiva says: "In your dreams for now only, my dear".
