Guest guest
Dear Bikramjitji.........yes of course is OK.........use warm water and woolite product for wool garments if you like.......this is one of the only products that allows oils to stay in items......dont soak mala.........just hold beads and brush them one at a time with soft tooth brush and then place mala in clean warm water for quick rinse and then dry on paper towel or cloth towel to dry away from sunlight.....sun can shrink wool and drying to fast can also shrink wook sometimes so let dry by itself in Puja room and you will have totally clean mala again hope this helps Thanks and Take Care Mitra DharmaDev In a message dated 12/18/2004 1:30:39 PM Pacific Standard Time, bikramjit.pandher writes: > > > > > > Hi, > Is it ok to wash rudra mala make with whool thread. > > Thanks > Bikramjit Pandher > > > To send an email to: > > > > Links > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
yes of course........will make the Rudraksa totally peaceful and slow them down a little...........they usually are soaked in Mustard oil that gives them more fire to burn the karma..........problem with soaking with oil is that you have to give them enough time to dry on towel or the oil goes on clothing Thanks DharmaDev Arya In a message dated 12/20/2004 9:21:22 AM Pacific Standard Time, bikramjit.pandher writes: > > > > > Can i soak the mala in olive oil after washing.. is it OK... > >

Guest guest
Hi DharmaDevji, u mean it is best for the rudra to be soaked in Mustard oil. What is the views if Sandalwood oil is used with the base oil of almond. Request ur advise and would appreciate if Simoneji could also offer her views on this too. Pls do not misunderstand me that i am not trusting your views but just requesting confirmation. This is because i am new and have no knowledge in this subject. Guest guest
Dear Roanji A number of different oils can be used.......Arjunaji detailed many........mustard oil is traditional oil used on Rudraksa Beads........Mustard Seed Oil gives more fire to the beads and Sandalwood and olive oil will calm the beads to a lesser level of excitation.........Beads are Karma Busters and the Mustard Seed Oil helps with acceleration and when things start changeing to fast you can slow down the events takeing place by placeing beads on holy alter for a while or perhaps even cleaning them and soaking them in peaceful calm olive oil In a message dated 12/21/2004 1:51:57 AM Pacific Standard Time, roankz writes: > > > > Hi DharmaDevji, > > u mean it is best for the rudra to be soaked in Mustard oil. Guest guest
Namaste Roan, The almond and sandalwood oil will work fine, as will olive oil. It doesn't have the same fire as the mustard, but for some this can be a plus. Not all skin likes mustard oil. With any oil remember to wipe the beads and allow it to soak in unless you wear them without a shirt in hot climate Arjuna roankz <roankz wrote: Hi DharmaDevji, u mean it is best for the rudra to be soaked in Mustard oil.
