Guest guest
Namaste Ray, The boiling test will of course damage the thread, silver or other material that was used for stringing the Siddha Malas. Perhaps you can carefully take one bead out, like the 5 mukhi or other mukhis of your choice and use the first 3 tests as mentioned by Sri DDji in his previous post to another member today.... That is, before you try the Potassium Nitrate test. Alternatively, you can send your Siddha Malas for authentification to Rudra Centre. The examination service is provided free. But you have to bear the costs of postage to India and from Mumbai back to you in the U.K. Use either registered snail mail or express couriers, the choice is yours. Is there a bettere way of determining the authencity of my Rudharaksja beads. > > Thanks > > Ray Kumar > > Simone <syzenith> wrote: > > Namaste Ray Kumar, > > Sri DDji will perhaps also respond to you when he comes online. > > Meantime: > -------- > > Genuine rudraksha does not get damaged so easily by using strong > chemicals such as potassium nitrate.
