Guest guest
Namaste DharmDevji, It you use strong chemicals as sugggested to test if thr rudhraksha is authentic or not, doe it have any damaging effect on Rudhraksha bead itself or affect its energy in any way. After doing these tests, what would you recommend is the way to restore the rudhraksha to its glory as a Holy Bead. Thanks Ray Kumar AumShiningLotus wrote: Dear Group Member just remembered the dissolveing agent for the new high tech glues is Potassium Nitrate to be worked with rubber cloves and bead to be soaked in closed contatiner.......then brushed with a brush that is other than plastic to remove the glue and the material that is in the lines Thanks and Take Care DharmaDev In a message dated 12/10/2004 11:44:46 AM Pacific Standard Time, AumShiningLotus writes: > > > > > Dear Shiv Sewakji > > Namaskar Mitra...........in reality the authentic round one mukhi is not > rare......it is non existant..........it does not exist because there has > yet to > be a tree found that grows this bead........it is a dream only.........have > been observeing a lot of one mukhi round bead message the past week and the > truth > is that there really has never been one of these beads seen that has > actually > been authenticated as an authentic bead.......Astology Mantra.com in England > > will sell you their authenic one mukhi round for $1000 and Mumbai Trust will > > sell you their authentic one for US $500............or is it $250 now > > The beads they sell are 3 Mukhi or 5 Mukhi Nepal rounds with the lines > filled > in......the one Mukhi Round does not exist......doesnt matter who says it > does unless the bead has been tested for authenticity first......The Nepal > Families in Nepal Rudraksa forest do not have these beads and the supplier > families > are the first to the trees dureing the harvest and there is no mysery > here....................If the Nepal Families who live in the Arun Valley of > the > Dingla Bazaar area do not find them.............. then no one has them to > sell................... and the Nepal Families that supply to the Dealers in > Kathmandu > dont sell one mukhi rounds.......the fake one Mukhi rounds start showing up > after the Dealers in Kathmandu start getting ahold of the beads from harves > and > giveing the properly shaped ones to their artisand to fill in the > lines......................people who sell the fake one mukhi rounds are > higher up in the > wholesale and retail markets as they have artisans who change the bead and > then yes.........sell them to unsuspeciting gurus........Suresh Basnet of > Nepal > Rudraksa told us he would be able to supply us with as many counterfiet > beads > as real beads and no one would be able to tell the difference..........The > idea > was not a new one.......he probably was suggesting we could mix the beads on > > a mala and no one would know.............problem for him is we have an > authenication service and we only sell authentic beads.............we dont > do > business with him because dealing in fake beads is against the basic concept > of the > Siva Purana.........so supporting Rudraksa Nepal or God Promise or > AstologyMantra and others in England and elsewhere who offer fake one mukhi > rounds for > $1000 really doesnt seem to be a good idea > > Please understand that you can believe what you wish however from a > suppliers > standpoint we cannot order them because they do not > exist.................reason is not because they are rare............there > are no trees found that grow > these beads in Nepal........... in England or anywhere else...........Is > similar situation as the 2 Mukhi Round Nepal that actually grows in Assam > however > the supply trade always calls this rudraksha the Nepal Round 2 Mukhi > > There is also some new high tech glue the artisans in Nepal are useing to > cover two lines in the 3 Mukhi Nepal to make it a one Mukhi that cannot be > boiled > out with water............. and the name of the dissolveing agent that does > clean out the lines when this glue is used is in our archives here > somewhere............dont remember what it is at the moment > > you can brace yourself for this next statement however you Friend and Your > Guruji has been misled regarding the one mukhi bead......as there is no such > > thing and if there were no one could afford the rudraksa as would be > priceless > > When you say the Gauri Shankar Bead had Ganesh Showing what do you > mean......is there Lord Ganesha Carved on the Bead or is this the Ganesh > Bead that has > the natural Trunk > > hope this helps as we do this message about three times a year on the group > site to let people know what the are dealing with > > Wishing you and Family the Best > > Aum NamaSivya Sivaya Nama Aum > > Dhanyavaad cha Pranams Mitra > > Rudra Center America > > DharmaDev Arya > > > > In a message dated 12/10/2004 10:47:28 AM Pacific Standard Time, > shiv_sewak writes: > > > > > > > > > > > > >Dear All, > > > >"Om Guru NamahOm Namah Shiva" > > > >By the grace on my Guru Ji, I have been fortunate enough to see a genuine > >round one mukhi Rudraksh bead. Guest guest
Dear Rayji Namaskar Mitra and thanks for message.......yes of course you are right.....however there are a series of tests that take place prior to this test of last resort with the Potassium Nitrate 1 fake one mukhi can be seen by plain eye sight if you are trained to do this so this is why we have authentication service 2 fake one mukhi can be seen by magnification.......magnifying glass first and microscope second 3 fake one mukhi can be seen by boiling water and brushing out the lines if # 2 verifies that it is fake 4 fake one mukhi can be seen by Potassium Nitrate test as a final test however yes this will slight damage the surface of the wooden Rudraska Bead in general... This test is not something done first.......first three would have to be attempted first First 3 tests dont harm and re energizeing with new Puja and wearing with mustard oil is perfect......cannot remark on the last test as we have never found an authentic one mukhi on any of the tests..............If the last test is made then the Bead might be immersed in mustard oil for 3 days and placed in small container with companion bead and HOLY ASH or KUM KUM for the duration of its stay at place of worship hope this helps Thanks and Take Care Mitra DharmaDev In a message dated 12/10/2004 7:51:48 Guest guest
Dear Ray hopeing last message helped to explain process of testing......where did you get idea you had to boil for 6 hours............glue comes out in about 30 minutes........if you bought from Rudra Center then you dont have to worry about anything........if you bought from someone else have them do the first two tests first........take to expert or send to Rudra Center Authentication of eyesight and magnification tests first...then go from there...........please dont start boiling Malas until someone who knows how to identify Rudraksa has looked at each one with plain eyesight and magnification first as the aritsans leave evidence of tampering......always........always the artisans who make fake beads leave evidence of tampering......and when a person is taken for a thousand dollars and money not rufunded then it is time to take the criminals to the legal system of the country you are in hope this helps Thanks and Take Care DharmaDev In a message dated 12/11/2004 12:56:23 PM Pacific Standard Time, sapsem1000 writes: > > > > > Namaste Simone, > > So does that mean I can take my Siddh mala and my wife's mala with Ganesh > Gauri Shankar rudhraksha and put them into a boiling pot of water for 6 > hours.....the very thought of subjecting my beloved rudhraksha beads to such > conditions is unbearable. Guest guest
Namaste Simone, So does that mean I can take my Siddh mala and my wife's mala with Ganesh Gauri Shankar rudhraksha and put them into a boiling pot of water for 6 hours.....the very thought of subjecting my beloved rudhraksha beads to such conditions is unbearable. Is there a bettere way of determining the authencity of my Rudharaksja beads. Thanks Ray Kumar Simone <syzenith wrote: Namaste Ray Kumar, Sri DDji will perhaps also respond to you when he comes online. Meantime: -------- Genuine rudraksha does not get damaged so easily by using strong chemicals such as potassium nitrate. If boiling a genuine rudraksha up to 6 hours does not make any part of it come apart, chemicals do not affect the rudraksha's natural electromagnetic, bioelectric and paramagnetic properties either. Hence genuine Rudraksha is highly revered by rudraksha sadhakas, enthusiasts, devotees and serious collectors. After testing, there is no need for any technical methods to "restore rudraksha to its glory" as you put it.. Usually what is required would be to wash with mild soapy water using reetha or soapnut or baby shampoo. Let the bead dry naturally and completely. Then put almond oil mixed with sandalwood oil in a small container. Soak the bead in the oil and brush it gently with a soft toothbrush. This conditions and maintains the bead, and also restores gloss and healthy shine. Then perform Rudraksha Pujan and Dharan. Alternatively some experienced and respected members in this group, are known to perform Rudraksha Abhishekam. One South Indian pandit who is Vaishnavite went back to South India a few months ago to ask his guru's permission whether he was allowed to learn how to perform rudraksha abhishekam. His guru gave permission. Now this Vaishnavite pandit has returned to Victoria, Australia recently. (Just an example for members from different backgrounds and lineages).
