Guest guest
Hi fellow frens, I must agree with DharmaDev, we should not blindly prescribe. Diabetes is of many types. We need to know in which catergory we r in to accept the prescription. Pierre ji, has just given a general suggestion, please consult your doctors before u cling on to one. There are alot of other factors to be understood. Aum Nama Sivaya Take Care. Guest guest
Hello I have studied and tested ayurvedic herbal products for a number of years. It is of great interest to me. I dont see how this information that was posted is related to Rudraksha? However, it is my general experience that MAPI products are extremely potent. You will simply not find any superior ayurvedic product which are available on a wider commercial scale. Some of the most prestigious vaidyas in India have over the years contributed to the Maharishi ayurveda programme. Regarding prices, it is certainly true that MAPI are so much more expensive than others. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi is a good businessman, I will give him that credit. ;-) However, there is a huge difference between the effect of Chyawan Prash and Maharishi Amrit Kalash Nectar herbal jam. The Amrit formula is in many ways a medhya rasayana that balances the flow of the higher pranas, Chyawan Prash is much more of a basic physical rejuvenator. Comparing the ingredients, Amrit Kalash is found to be a sort of a mix between the ayurvedic Brahma Rasayana and Chyawan Prash formulas found in the ayurvedic text Astangam Hridaya. But the way herbs are mixed and prepared and in what sequence is different and has a huge impact on the final result. Amrit jam has a unique opening effect on mind/intellect/cognitive powers which sensitive people will notice more quickly than others. I have never been able to find a lehyam (jam) formula with the same unique characteristics. It has a mellow all of its own which is very very powerful and unique. You cannot simply duplicate this sophisticated formula, by just mixing the exact same mg amounts of the used ingredients. It takes 250 meticulous steps to prepare. Twenty-two pounds of raw ingredients are required to produce a single jar of the MAK jam. The ayurvedic origin of this formula is difficult to trace, as MAPI is naturally secretive about it. What is known is that it is a rare formula which was given by the famous vaidya Balraj Maharshi in South India who received it from his own ayurvedic guru. It is my experience that the Dabur brand Chyawan Prash has so little potency. I have tested many CP's. Good original Cp's from South India are from SNA, MOOS, AVSK, AVP & KAPL. One of the best CP's I have ever tested comes from Dr. Scott Gerson at NIAM. It is made according to the oldest and more rare formula found in the Charaka Samhita. It is made by a family run pharmacy in Uttar Pradesh. Most CP's today are not the original formulas. But that does not mean they are more or less potent. They all have their own mellow. The Brahma Rasayanam formula from AVSK is especially good as a substitute for the Amrit formula, it is very close in many respects, but has its own mellow of course. Best, Katja PS. I have never been involved in the TM movement. , AumShiningLotus@a... wrote: > Dear Pierre ji > > Please Mitra.........you are not a doctor and cannot prescribe anything in > general for Diabetes.......in addition the products from MAPI sometimes cost 10 > times what you pay for same thing at Bazaar of India in Berkeley.....there are > many different types of Diabetes and you cant prescribe unless you are > medically trained to suggest or prescribe.......especially in a public > forum........Many in the TM Movement that have tried their products have moved on to paying > $11 for Dhabur Chyvanprash from the Indian Market instead of $50 for the same > Amla based product from MAPI > > Ayurvedic powders and Amla or Indian Gooseberry formulas have been in > existance from India long before the marketing people of the TM Movement got hold of > them....What is best idea is to read the ingrediants of the MAPI products and > then go the Indian Grocery or other online Ayurvedic Herb Store and buy the > ingredients seperately for less than half the price and mix your own teas > > The books on Ayurveda by Dr David Frawley have all the information a person > needs to copy the MAPI formulas that were probably copied from someone else > since there is nothing new on this entire planet > > Is a good idea for group members who are wealthy to go look at prices on MAPI > to see how american marketing works wonders with formulas from Ayurveda > > hope this helps as there is no one product at MAPI that will cure diabetes > > Thanks and Take Care > > DharmaDev
