Guest guest
Dear All: I have been reading a lot on rudrakshas and have bought a few from rudra centre on recommendation from Devji and Neetaji. I have a query on the number of beads required to have a visible effect. Like we refer to saints wearing rudraksha but have never seen any picture where any saint is wearing just one bead (Say of x-mukhi), its usually a mala. so please enlighten me as to the number aspect of rudraksha. how many number of a particular mukhi is required to see the desired result ( or if result is subjective ) than atleast for that mukhi to produce some notable result. Does 10 beads have more efficacy and 1 bead of same x-mukhi less ?? Thanks for ur time. Hare Krishna Bharat
Guest guest
Dear Bharatji Namaskar Mitra.........answer is the number of beads needed can differ with each person according to their Dharma and Karma.....is an individual experience I have never seen a picture of a Saint with only one bead however in Southern India I have seen Devotees wearing only one 5 Mukhi Rudraksa given to them by their Guru As you have mentioned the effects are expected to be be visible on the conscious or subjective levels and only the wearer can be the judge on identifying these effects as each person interprets independently of another.....people who meditate have a little easier time seeing the subjective results.............we have general guidelines from the Holy Books like Siva Purana and SriMadDeviBhagavat however these are general guidelines specific to effects from the Blessings of wearing........then we have all the testimonials over the years to show how different people react and how they treated or dealt with the Blessings they were given There was a famous Vina Musician in Chennai that swooned after wearing her mala for part of a day so the changes she experienced were dramatic and immediate most likely on many levels.......then there are other who dont feel anything on the surface and most of the karmic clearing is takeing place on subjective levels Yes 10 beads would have more of an effect than one of same Mukhi.....One of the keys in obtaining best results is wearing the first 40 days for each day and another is to have the beads strung mouth part to mouth part in pairs The SirMadDeviBhagavat says that to string a Mala for Mantra Siddhi the beads are to be strung mouth part to mouth part..........meaning that at the time they wrote this book they knew to wear the beads in pairs mouth part to mouth part when dealing with Mantra Siddhi and Accomplishment hope this helps Thanks and Take Care Mitra DharmaDev In a message dated 10/13/2004 11:54:06 PM Pacific Standard Time, bharatvyas writes: > > > > > > Dear All: > > I have been reading a lot on rudrakshas and have bought a few from > rudra centre on recommendation from Devji and Neetaji. Guest guest
Does mouth to mouth means, no sliver flower in the middle of two. I don't think that's the way rudra centre design its malas. Rather than making mala look more beautiful.Don't you think we should stick to our ancient scripts and don't try to take its effects away if its more effective mouth to mouth bead. In which thread the mala is more effective. Silver or woolen thread. Guest guest
the silver coated flowers spoken of enhance the electromagnetic field between the two beads Rudra Center strings its malas mouth part to mouth part and sometimes with knots between and sometime with gems or gold or silver between the two beads.....all this does is enhance the electromagnetic field between the beads and the wearer Some people do prefer to simply string without anything in between the beads So from this it looks like a person can string as they wish as I have also seen Devotees in Southern India wearing only one 5 Mukhi Rudraksa In the BrihajJabalopanisad it states Who wears along with gold silver quartz etc he himself becomes Siva In the SriMadDeviBhagavat it states Those who wear Rudraksa along with pearl coral quartz sapphire silver and gold they themselves become Siva Effectiveness of Silver or Thread depends on purpose of use and personal preference as far as I know........if you wear over heart for blood pressure the Subas Rai book says the metal is preferred over the thread.....if you do Japa again the Subas Rai book says metal over thread......other people prefer the woolen thread so am thinking it is a matter of personal preference as both silver and wool thread transfer electromagnetic charge In my experience when wearing the beads strung with metal the beads are always tangleing up and haveing to be straightened out and the mala is a lot heavier than a threaded Mala...........when wearing with thread the beads usually do not tangle and they lay on the body in a more comfortable manner and is a lighter mala for wearing for longer timeframes hope this helps Thanks DharmaDev In a message dated 10/15/2004 8:01:17 AM Pacific Standard Time, bikramjit.pandher writes: > Subj: RE: RBSC : Number of Beads > 10/15/2004 8:01:17 AM Pacific Standard Time > bikramjit.pandher > Reply-to: > > Sent from the Internet > > > > > > Does mouth to mouth means, no sliver flower in the middle of two.
