Guest guest
Please excuse my ignorance but what is the purpose of the rudram and what can it be used for. As you may all know, I have NOT yet uploaded 1st to 5th Anuvaghams. All other files are there. Like I mentioned, this file is huge and Y! doesn't allow me to do so. So, if anyone is interested please let me know and I will email you individually. Some Technical info - I tried to split this huge .wav file using .WAV splitter tool and most of the tools doesn't recognize this .wav file (created by my Palm PDA). So at this point I am giving up on splitting this file - unless someone comes up/suggest me a good tool (or) willing to do the split for me. Also, I found one full Rudram & Chamakam file on the net somewhere. The person on this audio file has chanted real slow and it is easier to follow. I will upload this shortly. Hope you will enjoy this. Once I post, then you can download and convert them into CD. Hope this helps , hiralkumar parikh wrote: > DEAR MAHESHJI HOW ARE YOU ??? > THIS HIRO FROM CANADA. Guest guest
Rudram is part of Vedas. Chanting Rudram is considered as most sacred way of praying Lord Shiva. The benefits of chanting Rudram is endless. In our times, even if we can't chant rudrams, it is very much suggested to play a rudram tape/CD at home, which will protect the entire house and give all the health, wealth etc. Rudram + Chamakam (another form of chanting) makes a complete chanting. When you buy any Rudram audio media, it will come with Chamakam by default. To hear the sample, goto the File section in this group and look for a folder "Maharudram". Under that folder, you can see about 12 files I posted today. Unofrtunately there is no more space to upload chamakam files here. Hope this helps MPS S [revitaliseme] Tuesday, September 28, 2004 3:15 PM Re: RBSC : Digest Number 843 Please excuse my ignorance but what is the purpose of the rudram and what can it be used for.
