The worship procedure with rose water, milk, sandal paste and safron ,should it be done on mondays or thusdays or everyday and if done only on mondays then on other days only offering water would it be suficient? Thank You. Kishore AUM NAMAHA SHIVAYA SHIVAYA NAMAHA AUM. vote. - Register online to vote today!
Guest guest
Namaste Kishore, If you read Hindu, there is a book titled "Parad Samhita" that is sold by Rudra Centre. Visit www.rudraksha-ratna.com and click on the link for Books. You will find this book there. It contains relevant information about parad. Yes it is ok to keep and worship Parad ShivLingam in Puja Room. Not necessary to make special place outside the house as your ShivLing is not gigantic size. I have been to temples that have gigantic ShivLingams and they are placed inside the prayer halls. Not outside. Monday is Lord Shiva's Day. You can worship on Monday which is special for Lord Shiva or on any other day you wish. It is sincere devotion or bhakti that matters above all else. With pure heart, even the offering of water or one weed plucked from the roadside is sufficient. Lord Shiva sees all and knows all.
