Guest guest
Dear Dharmadevji We have been taught to say Gayatri matra like how I have posted it in the email. Even the books which I have with different prayers has the same sequence. Please correct me if I'm not saying this matra correctly. Any input will be appreciated. Om Gayatri namah! Guest guest
Dear Vandanaji Namaskar Mitra......The Gyantri you are chanting is the short form and it is correct and proper and has been taught to many families........I was just asking why the longer form wasnt being used Thomas Ashley Farrand mentions the same in his book Healing Mantras on page 208 He has also asked this question repeatedly from Eastern Spiritual teachers and said he has never recieved a satisfactory answer as to why the shorter form is taught His further comment is that he was taught the long form and can only comment from useing this form...................and has since given this to others who have reported to him that new levels of peace descended into their minds after just a few days of practice To read more about this the Healing Mantras book can be found at www.sanskritmantras.com or on www.amazon.com Thanks and Take Care Mitra DhramaDev In a message dated 9/10/2004 1:23:56 AM Pacific Standard Time, no_reply writes: > > > Dear Dharmadevji > > We have been taught to say Gayatri matra like how I have posted it in > the email.
