Guest guest
Dharamdevji - The mantra you mentioned in this email is "Pranayaama". In fact it is not complete. Gayathri is part of Pranayaamam. You need to add the following lines to complete the mantra: Om Maapo Jyotheerasaga Amirdham Brahmam Om Bhur Bhuvasva Om Gayathri Mantra itself is : Om Bhur Bhuvah Svah, Tat Savitur Varenyam Bhargo Devasy Dimahi, Dhiyo Yonah Pracho Dayat Hope this helps M AumShiningLotus [AumShiningLotus] Thursday, September 09, 2004 1:42 PM Re: RBSC : Gayatri Mantra/Bikramjitji Dear Vandanaji Can you tell me why you use the short form of the Gayatri as it seems to leave a lot out of the Mantra sequence Aum Bhuh Aum Bhuvaha Aum Swaha Aum Maha Aum Janaha Aum Tapaha Aum Satyam Aum Tat Savitur Varenyam Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi Dhiyo Yonaha Prachodayat Dhanyavaad cha Pranams Mitra DharmaDev In a message dated 9/9/2004 1:27:14 AM Pacific Standard Time, no_reply writes: > Subj: RBSC : Gayatri Mantra/Bikramjitji > 9/9/2004 1:27:14 AM Pacific Standard Time > no_reply > Reply-to: > > Sent from the Internet > > > > Dear Bikramjitji > > Om Bhur Bhuvah Svah, Tat Savitur Varenyam > Bhargo Devasy Dimahi, Dhiyo Yonah Pracho Dayat > > > Om: All of existence > Bhur: Coming, the physical world, vital energy > Bhuvah: Going, mental world, destroyer of suffering > Svah: Balance, the intellectual world, embodiment of happiness > Tat: This, 8 planes, God > Savitur: Radiant brilliance, knowledge, male > Varinyam: Adorable, venerable, supreme > > Bhargo: Permeated with magnificence, destroyer of sins > Devasy: Devine, intrinsic, pure and brilliant > Dimahi: Meditation, focused, absorbed, receiving > Dhiyo: Intellect > Yonah: All beings, one going into many, female > Pracho Dayat: Inspire, enlighten, ignite > > > Hope this helps. > > Om Gayatri Namah > > Vandana > > > > > > To send an email to: > > > > Links > > > > > > To send an email to: <http://us.ard./SIG=1291epilb/M=298184.5285298.6392945.3001176/ D=groups/S=1705075991:HM/EXP=1094841709/A=2319498/R=0/SIG=11thfntfp/*htt p://www.netflix.com/Default?mqso=60185352&partid=5285298> click here <http://us.adserver./l?M=298184.5285298.6392945.3001176/D=group s/S=:HM/A=2319498/rand=801717761> _____ * / * <?subject=U n> * Terms of <> Service.
