Hello and Namaste to All,

I went to my local Northern Indian Hindu temple for Krishna's Birthday Worship.

I wore my beautiful navratna mala with 7, 8 & 13 mukhi beads.

Several ladies commented upon how unusual it is and I gave them the website

information for rudraksha-ratna. It was a big hit!

The ladies look so elegant and feminine in their saris and salwars. I will have

to get a salwar kameez to wear so I can be cool in the summertime. It gets

pretty hot here in Texas!

I found out that they have erected a statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Hermann Park

here in Houston and the Dedication Ceremony will be on October 2nd. I think

that is wonderful. Our world needs non-violent resistance as it always has.
