Let me know if you can help. I must ask for you input, or anyone else who cares to offer advice. For the past 17 years I have been a dedicated wife and mother of two sons, yet despite my efforts of love, prayer, and work, the situation has worsened. We have gone together and individually to counselors of every type: school guidance counselors, social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists. My husband has a very bad temper and so do my sons. Irritation quickly escalates into violence, both verbal and physical and I have been receiving abuse on a daily basis from these three;, most of the physical violence is like throwing things, or pushing me. When is it acceptable for a woman to separate from her husband and sons? (In the context of Sanatana Dharma) It is important for me to know, because soon I plan to begin formal worship in a Hindu temple, and I know the priests I meet will want to know all about me.
