Mangal/Kuja Dosha

-----------------

Whenever Mars is situated in 1,2,4,7,8,12th house of a Rashi or

lunar chart (Moon chart) it is called as "Manglik dosha, Kuja Dosha,

Bhom Dosha or Angaraka Dosha, or Manglik Dosh" in Vedic Astrology.

Resulting problems in marriage life or partnership situations. The

person will also have to endure hardships in the marriage generated

by the spouse. As the person with Kuja Dosha does not have the

nature to victimize the spouse.

The mechanics of Kuja Dosha are such, it causes the a person with

Kuja Dosha to be attracted to a partner who by his/her very nature

can not blend or function compatibly for any great length of time

with that person.

The most significant problem is that, a person with a Kuja Dosha

will not feel much physical attraction to another with Kuja Dosha.

In Match making most famous and vicious problem is Mangal Dosh. In

reality, it is not Mangal Dosh but it is called sumanglik dosha , it

means problem in auspicious events of marriage life. It means that

problem in something auspicious or good. In other words, stoppage in

something auspicious or good work is known as Mangal Dosh. This dosh

is known as very big problem in married life.

This dosha affects both married and unmarried people .

A girl is considered to be a Mangalik, if the Mars is placed either

in the first, fourth, seventh, eighth or twelfth house of her

horoscope.

A girl having a `Mangalik dosha' or `Vishakanya Yoga' present in

her horoscope has a threat of becoming a widow. A `kumbha-Vivaha'

is a must for such a girl.

Remedy:

1. The way out of Kuja Dosha is for a person with Kuja Dosha to

Marry an Another with Kuja Dosha

2. If the first house is Aries or Mesha and Mars is in Aries the

Kuja Dosha is not effective as Aries is the Own House of Mars.

Dear friend,

Pranams.

The kuja dosha is perhaps the much dreaded myth. Many girls become victims to

this.

All the living beings are the creations of God. The poorvakarma is, of course,

reflected on the present life situations, which in turn, could be understood in

the light of planetary positions in a birth chart.

One man's food is another man's poison. What is good to somebody may be bad for

another. What looks like a dosha from one point of view may be a guna from

another point of view. Mostly perceptions of doshas stand in the way of

comprehensive understanding the native's strengths and weaknesses.

The kujan is a very dynamic planet. His placement in a house, energizes the

related aspect of life, in some cases to a more than average level. For example

if a girl has Mars in the second house, she would not meekly agree to anything

she is told. Her tone would be majestic; the diction would be clear and her word

would be mostly final in any argument. This quality is good from one point of

view; and is considered bad from another point of view. This quality is an asset

for her, if she becomes an advocate or teacher. But normally women are

visualised as dependants and such a valuable strength is considered a dosha.

Like this, the points of compatibility should be judged in a balanced manner.

The concepts of dosha very often spoil a scientific approach to Astrology.

If it is a dosha, generally meaning a negative influence, how can a person with

the same dosha would be a suitable partner? Fire cannot be extinguished by fire.

Usually in Kerala much importance is not attached to the so called 'Ankaraka

dosha'. At the worst, it is taken to be a reason for delay in getting married

(maybe because of the wrong notions in the minds of others).

There are several other planetary positionings also, (in addition to those

mentioned by our friend Simone) which annul this so called dosha at the time of

birth itself.

My thanks are due to our friend Simone for having generated discussion on a very

interesting meaningful topic.
