Guest guest
Hello to all of you at the group! Ihave unfortunately been a long (too long) dormant member, too many pressures from all sides in life. I have been occasionally looking in at your messages, though, so I have sort of kept in touch. This message interested me because as a Sri Vidya upaasak (that means practitioner of Sri Vidya) Ihave visited and read these and many other related pages often. I would like to share with you a link: http://sanskrit.gde.to which will lead you to a very wonderful website. It is created and maintained by sanskrit scholars. You will find a huge number of shlokas, and the Hindu scriptures in various downloadable formats. Do visit the website if you are interested. Regards, Janaki
Guest guest
-Hi everyone, I have also been dormant for some time but always check on all the wonderful things everyone has to say on this site. Please advise. I suddenly stopped wearing my Rudra mala a couple of months ago. I do not know or understand why but I just did not have the urge to do so. Now I feel like a pull to wear them again. How should I start. Do they need to be re-energized or cleaned in some particular way. Remember here we do not get certain types of oil that is generally recommended for cleaning purposes. Would appreciate any input. Hope all are doing well. Cyra -- coolj_50 <coolj_50 wrote: > Hello to all of you at the group! Guest guest
You can wear your mala again with no energizing. If the beads look dry, or the mala has become soiled, you may want to clean and oil them. Otherwise, you need not. Please check the archives for discussions of the oils used to clean the mala. There are several recommended oils, remember. Some, like olive oil, are very commonly available. Thanks!
