Shall the pyramid type triangle in the center around bindu be UP SIDE DOWN or it shall be UPSIDE ? that is to ask shall center triangle sit on base or on the pointed side at the bottom? I have seen few pictures all show triangle facing down & not sitting on base. Can you please help ? Thanks Ashokbaba
Guest guest
I agree with my cherished sister, Sy. The Sri Yantra sits on its base with the point of the triangle up. The point is the "antenna" for the energies of the yantra. It thus must be topmost. The Kali Yantra has the point down. Thanks, Kari , Ashok Sanghavi <gfg1988> wrote: > > > Hello Sir, > I have a question about Shri Yantra > I have two calanders of Shri Yantra framed in Glass frame without dates on it in my Pooja room > > Question... > Thanks > Ashokbaba > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Dear Alanji Thanks for your Knowledge Mitra.........yes I also found this on the design of the overlapping triangles on the Sri Yantra where two main groups of Triangle overlap............where one group faces upward and another group face downward resulting in the center triangle around the bindu iteself faceing the Earth Thank you for this clarification Mitra Take Care DharmaDev In a message dated 7/1/2004 7:29:04 AM Pacific Standard Time, source311 writes: > > > Dear friends - on the issue of the Sri Yantra central triangle surrounding > the Bindu - the Bindu represents Shiva or non-dual reality as the basis or > substratum of creation. Guest guest
Dear friends - on the issue of the Sri Yantra central triangle surrounding the Bindu - the Bindu represents Shiva or non-dual reality as the basis or substratum of creation. The first triangle represents Shakti or the inception of the relative, creative, generative principle. It is a triangle with its point facing downwards because it is the beginning of the involutionary or densifying, manifestation cycle of creation. Comparison to the Meru Sri Yantra also supports this. It is not that the Meru sits on its base and faces upwards that is the equivalent. It is the fact that the Meru Bindu sits at the very apex of the Meru and the first triangle is below it (in the downward or earthly direction). Thus, whether two or three dimensional, the Sri Yantra is structured with the first triangle around the Bindu facing down. with love to all, Alan >Ashok Sanghavi <gfg1988 > > >Re: RBSC : Shri Yantra-TRIANGLE >Wed, 30 Jun 2004 09:57:13 -0700 (PDT) > >Hello Dear SIMONJI & KARIJI >Thanks & lots of unconditional love, >I have a 3D crystal Shri yantra , & is sitting on base.
