Guest guest
Dear Badalji If you sit a 5 Mukhi Bead or 6 Mukhi Bead on the table it has a wider part on the bottom and will set upright on the table If you you set the beads on their more pointed mouth part then they will roll over for additional help all the pictures on our Rudra Center website www.rudraksha-ratna.com in the Rudraksa Bead section mostly show the beads with the mouth part faceing the person looking at the picture Rudra Center strings their Malas with beads mouth part to mouth part hope this helps Thanks and Take Care Mitra DharmaDev In a message dated 6/16/2004 7:29:18 AM Pacific Standard Time, badalsuchak writes: > > > Thanks a lot for your guidance on combining rudraksha beads. > > But i need some further clarification. Guest guest
If you look carefully at the beads, there is a "front end" and a "rear end." It doesn't matter which end you call which. But, the beads work better if they are strung with the "noses" facing eachother, and the "rears" facing eachother. If, for instance, you look at a five mukhi bead, one end is very slightly more "pointed," the other end is a little "flatter." The pointed ends should be strung facing eachother. The same with the flat ends. When Dharmadeva says "good to face the Lord Vishnu 10 mukhi with the 12 mukhi," I believe he is saying string them together, with the proper ends facing.
