Guest guest
Namaste Mehtaniji, We've discussed mala making in many previous posts. Looks like we now have to collate past information to make a file for uploading to the Files section for yourself and our other friends. Please be patient as this will take time. Copper has also been discussed by Kariji and others (I'm pretty sure for making the lower part, cut some lengths of wire to put through the holes of each rudraksha bead, twirl the ends into secure loops or circles. Hook or loop the next bead onto the first and continue until all your "pendant beads" are done. Then secure with red thread at the top. As I haven't used copper wire, can't tell you if insulation should be removed with sandpaper. Would think that the wire will have a rough feel if you use sandpaper. Any friends here have suggestions for Copper Wire? If you do, please share with us, thanks! Spacers can be silver beads, sphatik beads or any type of your choice. As you are the one who is wearing the mala, you would know what feels comfortable to you. If you use knots, then there is no need for spacers. Or you can intersperse the spacers and knots using your creativity and imagination or intuition. Need to practice a few times to see how you feel. If you want to string "working malas" mouth to mouth and tail to tail, this is done in pairs. Between each pair, a spacer or knot can be used if you wish. Sphatik or quartz crystal is hardy (the ones I got from Rudra Centre are great) and won't be affected by lukewarm water. Oil only makes them greasy but can be wiped off using gentle soapy water or use a bit of soap nut. Again can't tell you about the effects of water or oil on copper wires as I mostly use either thread or silver wiring and both are equally durable in both liquids. Guest guest
Dear Asheesh JI Namaskar and thank you for your message........this is a great Mala..........only suggestion I would have is to place the Gauri Shankar at the back of the neck where the Kundalini Flows..........Gauri Shankar support the expansion and development of intent and purpose of entire Mala and wearers thoughts and needs.........since all this takes place in a wearers brain then the Gauri Shankar might be better worn closer to the head hope this helps Wishing you and Family the Best Rudra Center America DharmaDev Arya In a message dated 6/11/2006 1:04:45 PM Pacific Standard Time, asheesh1968 writes: > > > Hello everybody, > > Kind Attn.: Mr. Dharamdeva Arya > > I had a pleasure to talk to Mr. Dharamdeva Arya about 3 months back > when I ordered beads from www.rudrtaksa-ratna.com(Known to be best > place to buy genuine rudraksha).
