Hi,

I recently checked with our family astrologer about my horoscope, he

gave some guidance and suggested me to wear either 1-faced or 5-faced

rudraksha on a red thread and tipped with gold/silver. He also

suggested me to wear "coral" ring. After reading several articles on

the net, I found that ek mukhi (1-faced) is the most powerful.

However, 5-faced is more towards to resolve illness. I am looking for

one that would take care of both the health problem and also to keep

me out of various other troubles and help me drive towards more

religious thoughts and actions. I believe my astrologer and there

must be some reason why he recommended 1-faced or 5-faced.

As you know very well, one could see rudrakshas being sold for $1 to

$1000. I haven't seen any site selling more than $100. It is hard to

believe that there are one-faced rudrakshas for just $20. I know for

sure that they aren't good. I am now at a point where I need to find

good quality rudrakshas. Ideally I would like to find people who are

equally religious as me so that I could expect some sort of honesty

than just business-minded people to sell some thing to me. I almost

came close to buying one from a site in Nepal (Nepalrudraksha or

something). Currently, I am holding off to that idea till I hear

from many of you folks here as to the best places to buy. I live in

Chicago and someone suggested me to go to local Indian jewelers for

beads. I am not too comfortable doing that suspecting that they might

sell fake ones.

Also please let me know some information about energizing the bead

once I get it.

These people are the best sellers. I came to them after researching dozens of

sellers.

Now, I never buy anywhere else. It's a religious calling to them, as well as a

business.

They bless the beads before they are shipped.

You might want also to take advantage of their free bead rcommendation service.

And, yes... you can wear panchmukhi AND ekmukhi beads together. I wear all of

them

1-13, and in multiples. If you DO wear a panchmukhi, wear three of them, strung

nose-to-nose and rear-to-rear. One ekmukhi is enough.

Thanks, and take care! Kari
