Dear Members,

I procured a 27+1 5Mukhi Holy Indonesian Rudraksha

Jaapa Mala in Red thread from Rudra centre Mumbai.

I wanted to know few things from you my friend. I know that you will

definitely help me out. They are:

1. Will this 27+1 5Mukhi Holy Indonesian Rudraksha Jaapa Mala in Red

also need to be cleaned in water and oiled once in a month as other

malas of Rudraksha.

2. I do jaapa while dipping the Mala in a water in copper utensil in

morning and in Gomukhi Bag in night before sleep. I noticed that on

dipping the Holy Rudraksha in water , the color of water turned into

yellow on the first day,the second day the color of water was lighter

and the third day more lighter. Can somebody tell what is this? For

this reason I didnot drink the water first four days, however I

sprinkled it in my rooms and courtyard. Was this water safe to consume

when yellow color was darker ?

3. It is said to cover the mala in Gomukhi Bag or with cloth while

doing Jaapa dipping the mala in water in copper utensil. Can somebody

tell the reason behind it.Is this necessary condition to do Jaapa or

can be done without it also?

I find it difficult to do Jaapa while completely the mala and hand

are inside the Gomukhi Bag because the mouth of the bag is too narrow

as compared to hand and moreover the Meru bead which is large and due

to tussle the meru bead often gets stucked with the bag and hence

cause difficulty in pulling the beads .Similarly is the case when it

is done in water in copper utensil, the mala looses its straightness

due to wetting effect and also due to meru being large and tussle the

meru bead often gets stucked with the walls of utensil and hence

cause difficulty in pulling the beads .

Can any body help me out in this matter?

4.When doing jaapa initially I rest the Meru bead on the middle

finger of right hand. Then start counting the first bead adjacent to

meru by pulling it towards myself. Now I want to know is there any

condition that one should hold the Meru bead on the middle finger

such that the beads in front of the meru bead always remain in front

and the beads back to the Meru bead always remain back to the Meru

i.e I mean to say that Whether I need to hold the mala on middle

finger in one direction only always or can i hold it randomly.

Looking for your early reply

Best Regards and Pranaams
