I've read it with keen interest and do not think it is possible for any organisation to patent rudraksha beads or seeds unless they formulate products or derivatives from the fruit itselt like citric acid for example. Also in absolute resonance with Sis Kariji's input. Just a matter of interest and discussion: ------- Trying to patent rudraksha is like trying to patent holy tulsi, sandalwood beads, tumeric beads, lotus seed beads, etc. There are many Indian companies that produce Neem products like toothpaste, soap, hair oil, neem tea, etc. Most of these are patented when sold commercially and made available in the West.
